This October, I’ll be running the Tonbridge Half Marathon in honor of my number one supporter, my best friend - my mum. I’m aiming to raise as much as I can for The Hospice in the Weald, a charity that gave my mum invaluable care and comfort during her battle with cancer.

Their support didn’t end there and have continued to be an incredible source of strength and compassion for me and my family since her passing last year.

Any donations, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. We are forever grateful for everything they’ve done, and we hope to help them continue their vital work in supporting other cancer patients and their families.

Information about Hospice in the Weald: Hospice in the Weald provides care to patients with a terminal illness, their families and carers in West Kent and Northern East Sussex. We are there 24 hours a day to help, support and care for patients with an illness where a cure is no longer possible, or where patients will at some stage die from their illness. The care we provide is completely free of charge to our patients, their families and carers. We are not part of the NHS, and we need to raise 7 million pounds every year to fund our services.
