My name is Tom Sajdak. I’m 44 years old, and for more than 10 years I worked for the City of Prescott, Arizona. I’ve always believed in hard work, taking care of my responsibilities, and being there for the people who depend on me.
In 2012, I became a father to my daughter — the greatest blessing of my life. Everything I’ve done since then has been for her.
In 2019, everything changed in a matter of seconds.
While riding my 1997 Harley Softail, my back brake suddenly locked. I was thrown from the bike and dragged across the asphalt. That moment left me with a devastating spinal cord injury. Today, I am an incomplete C5/C6 paraplegic.
Since then, life has become a daily fight.
Every small movement, every bit of progress, has taken everything I have. Recovery at this level doesn’t just “happen” — it requires intensive therapy, specialized care, and consistent support. And here’s the hard truth:
Without proper treatment and resources, progress can stall… or even be lost.
Time matters.
The longer I go without the care I need, the harder it becomes to regain strength, mobility, and independence. What I do now — not someday, not later — will determine how much of my life I can get back.
I’m doing everything I can on my own, but it’s not enough.
I need help to access the therapies, medical care, and adaptive equipment that can give me a real chance at improving my condition. This isn’t about comfort — it’s about fighting for independence, dignity, and the ability to show up for my daughter the way she deserves.
If you’re able to donate, share, or support in any way, it truly matters. Every contribution helps me take another step forward in a fight I refuse to give up on.
Thank you for standing with me in this.
- My goal is $40,000
The money raised not only goes for my care but also trying to get something for my stem cell therapy. Looking to get the therapy with Ways 2 Well... Link provided Stem cell therapy
$9k for possible treatment
$250 to start
Provider of their own does the check up and verification on whether I can be a candidate
Every little bit matters, but please remember that GoFundMe does take a percentage of donations. Thank you for your time and support ❤️
