Hi everyone! We are friends so you most likely know my Dad and Mom (Tom and Margo). Over the last several years my Dad has dealt with some major health issues. Some of which have been untreated due to the ever spinning health insurance programs. Yesterday he was finally seen by a neuro surgeon for severe back pain and numbness in his lower extremities. Long story short the Dr said it was very important that he have back surgery ASAP. He is scheduled to have a rod and screws placed in his lower spine on Tuesday. His recovery process will be long, 4 days in the hospital, 3 month in a full back brace, and then start a physical therapy program.

Here's where we need your help... my parents are foster care providers and will need to close their home during these first couple months of his recovery. They first and foremost ask for prayers and emotional support. Secondly if you feel compelled to help financially that would be amazing as well. My parents aren't the people to ask for a handout but next couple months are going to be really tough. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers as we start on this journey to get him feeling better!
