Tom's Miracle Cleats - Oishei Children's Hospital

This story begins last summer, when Matt and Jen Low were faced with every parent’s worst nightmare. Their otherwise healthy son, Tom would need emergency brain surgery. 

Tom, an 11-year-old Lego-loving 6th grader from City Honors, developed an infection in his eye that traveled to his brain and required two brain surgeries at Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo. 

After 18 days in the hospital, Tom was healed. The love, care, and compassion Tom received at the hands of the nurses and doctors at Oishei is something the Lows will never forget. 

Fast forward to this fall, when Tom was approached by Josh Allen - a big-time supporter of Oshei - to design the cleats he would wear as part of the NFL’s My Cause, My Cleats campaign. As part of the campaign, the cleats the players wear are then auctioned off to raise money for the charity of their choice. 

We want Tom to have these cleats! 

Will you join us in raising money for Oishei, while helping create the largest bid for the cleats? All money raised will be used to bid on the cleats on behalf of Tom, with all funds going to this amazing children’s hospital.
