Tom’s BYMT fund

Hi, my name is Tom. Im a 16year old performance student from the North of England and I'm fundraising to hopefully be able to accept the offer I have received from British Youth Music Theatre to attend a 16 day residential and perform in their new production of Unbound at the Birmingham Hippodrome.

As a young person who dreams of a career in performance this opportunity could be a major stepping stone on my way to achieving my goals. in pursuit of my dreams, I take every opportunity to develop as a performer and gain experience, such as, taking part in every school performance, charity events, assisting teaching performance lessons. I attend the schools Choir, Dance clubs and Shakespeare festivals in order to gain the much needed experience. I am studying towards a Level 3 B-Tech and i am hoping to do a Associates Teaching Course for Musical Theatre. I am also a performance ambassador for my schools performance faculty and i am hoping to be able to attend this opportunity in order to show other students that it is possible to achieve their dreams, regardless of their background.

I am also saving my own money and i want to be able to do fundraising events, such as, concerts and showcases where i hope to give students in my school an opportunity to perform.
