Tommy's Struggle: A Family in Need

Please help Tommy!
My son Tommy is my HERO! Tommy used to be a volunteer firefighter running into burning buildings to save the lives of others or careening down a steep embankment to assist in removing a motorist involved in a crash. No matter what, no matter where, no matter what time of day or night Tommy was always there to lend a helping hand. A loving husband to his wife Casey and father to his 6 year old son Noah. Strong as an ox young man who loved to hike, camp, kayak and fish. Tommy would go to the end of the Earth to help any human or animal in need. He's an incredibly talented saxophone player. Tommy used to play at church, nursing homes out of the goodness of his heart, in bands, and for his family. Tommy worked in a hospital in the mental health ward. During COVID he was required to take the vaccine to keep his job. In fear of losing his job not being able to support his family, begrudgingly he received the two part Moderna vaccine. Some months after that, suddenly and intermittently he started breaking out in rashes. The bottom of his feet would start to itch and then his entire body would break out in an itchy rash. His throat would start to close and he would vomit violently. It would subside hours later and his body would return back to normal without explanation. Allergy testing did not reveal anything. As the months went on Tommy started to walk differently. Sort of leaning back as he walked and was having pain in his lower back. Since he worked in the mental health ward and was attacked a few times resulting in a concussion and herniated discs in his lower back, we thought that the injuries may be the cause of him walking differently. As time went on, Tommy got the Moderna boosters as requested by his job. His walking became increasingly worse as did his pain and he can no longer go up stairs. The once strong as an ox young man being able to lift objects that were 250 lbs. with ease was getting weaker by the day. Back to the doctor we went and that's where everything started to go downhill very quickly. Painful muscle biopsy in his thigh, a spinal tap which landed him in the emergency room a couple of days later due to fluid leaking internally down his spine and out of the hole where the spinal tap was. A specialist gave Tommy a blood patch inserting another beyond painful needle into his spine with blood taken from his arm which would make a clot so the fluid would stop leaking out. From there we made appointments at a hospital in NYC where they conducted a series of tests. We are now told that Tommy has Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease, FSHD, HCSD and is missing over 26 genes out of his body. How does that happen all of a sudden! After the Moderna vaccines within about a year and a half, Tommy went from a strong as an ox young man, devoted husband and father with enough energy to stay up 24/7, and helping anyone at the drop of a dime to not even being able to lift a bag of groceries out of a shopping cart. Not even being able to raise his arms over his head. Tommy has a blood clot in his calf, his ankle is atrophied, has a C-pap machine, he is in excruciating pain, he is weak and has lost his strength. We are told there is no cure or treatment. Tommy can no longer be the father he always wanted to be to his son Noah running, playing, riding bicycles or be the doting husband to his wife Casey or even go beyond measure to help others. Tommy and Casey wanted a sibling for Noah which is out of the question now. Tommy forces himself to walk with a cane and can barely stand up straight. He resentfully uses a wheelchair. Noah helps his dad put on his shirt and anything else needed for his dad. Casey works 10+ hour shifts to help with the expenses while caring for Noah and Tommy. I am a single mom trying to help financially and physically to ease the responsibilities. Tommy somehow is able to muster up his beautiful smile and cheerful disposition telling me "Mom, everything is going to be okay. It's all okay." Tommy still proudly wears his MVFRD volunteer firefighter shirts, does whatever he can with and for his son and wife no matter how much pain he is in or what his limitations are and tries to play his saxophone even as his fingers go numb.
Please help my HERO TOMMY and family. We need to move him into a ranch style home and get him a vehicle that can accommodate his electric wheelchair that is about 420 lbs. If you are not able to help with a donation please pray that his condition ceases or reverses bringing him back to whole again. Thank you kindly, Tommy's mom.
