I am Brittany, Thomas McAteer’s sister. My brother was in a bad car accident on May 20th. He rolled his truck 3 times and was ejected from the vehicle. He was medivaced And is currently in the ICU and has a Traumatic Brain Injury to the right side of his brain. His brain swelled and the pressure in his brain was high so they had to remove part of his skull to make room for the swelling and to help the pressure in his brain go down. He is on a ventilator and has a feeding tube. He also had to get a central line to be able to give him medication that goes straight to his heart to keep his blood pressure up. He is responding to some verbal cues to move his right hand and feet and he has opened his eye at times when asked. He is now being taken off sedation and we are waiting to see how he reacts when that is out of his system.  If anyone can possibly donate anything at all to help with any medical expenses and possibly rehab and any other costs that may come about in his journey to recovery my family and I would really appreciate it, and if you can’t we ask that you say a prayer for my baby brother and hope for a speedy recovery!
