Tommy's Journey After Father's Passing

It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic news of the unexpected passing of Tommy McCord’s father this morning from a sudden heart attack. Tommy, who tragically lost his mother to stage four bile duct cancer when he was just three years old, now faces the unimaginable loss of his father. As the only biological son and only 18 years old, all of the responsibilities for his father’s final arrangements and the future now fall to him.

Rex was an avid Steelers fan and a wonderful, caring father figure to Tommy and his step daughter Shae.

We are reaching out for support to help Tommy cover the costs of his father’s funeral and celebration of life.
