Tommy the Handsome Siamese - from rags to riches!

Tommy is a gorgeous siamese kitty who had a rough couple of years until good samaritans intervened! He is a stunning siamese mix with big blue eyes, a big ol' head, and a tentative demeanor - it is hard to believe that anyone would leave him to fend for himself.

When Tommy started showing up sporadically at a feral colony for meals, it was immediately apparent that he was in bad shape but was trap savvy and avoided capture for over a year. During that time, he lost weight, and his wounds became apparent: he suffered from a poorly healed front right leg and an open wound on his front left leg. We think that Tommy had been an outside cat for someone in the neighborhood who passed or moved - and Tommy was left in the cold with no one to care for him.

Perhaps because of the significant pain he was in, Tommy became less cautious with the colony feeder, even letting her pet him while he ate. His life changed the day she scooped him up into a carrier and took him to start the rest of his life!

Over the past several months, Tommy has been in the care of a fantastic animal lover, Lisa, who has diligently cared for his medical needs, and of course, provided all the love and scritches that Tommy needs (and loves!).

Now that Tommy is rehabilitated, his fur is soft and shiny, his open wound has finally healed completely, and he's well used to human affection, we are raising funds to reimburse Lisa for Tommy's vet bills and medicines.
