Tommy Taylor's Final Goodbye

Donation protected
My name is Tomi Jade Taylor, I am the proud daughter of Tommy Taylor. Dad's birth name is James Thomas Taylor Jr, yet he was known by many names such as Tommy, J.T. , trouble maker, and to me daddy. Tommy's last day in our world was on October 10th 2020. Unfortunately his passing was unexpected and I could not have ever been prepared for this day. Although my dad had been diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2019, this loss took us by shock. Friday night I received a phone call in the middle of the night that changed my life forever. I know his time on this earth has come to an end, but I want him back. I want to go catch flat head catfish on the river, drink a miller light, and laugh with him. Instead, I find myself asking for your help to get me through this hard time. I know none of you can bring him back, but possibly help lighten our financial burdens in this time. Due to recently losing his job because of his medical status, and me losing my job, on top of being a full time student there is no insurance in place or income to get me through this.

If you take a look in the dictionary and look up "Free Spirit" you'll find yourself a photo of Tommy Taylor with a fish in his hand a smirk only he can make. My dad was an amazing man in his own way. He enjoyed life in a way none of us ever will, he was free, he lived without an alarm clock, and he loved the people close to him fiercely. I was fortunate enough to get a over a year of undivided attention and love from both my mom and my dad after our car accident in January of 2019. We lived and got through so many hardships that year between our home flooding, our wreck, him getting diagnosed with CHF and all living in a tiny cabin together. We fished practically everyday and not one "I LOVE YOU" was missed. I will forever cherish this year with my daddy. Due to all the hardships we have endured within the last two years my mom is having trouble keeping her head above water. Tommy and my mom were twin flames, fire and gasoline, the love of each others lives. I am proud to have witnessed the incredible love between them. Though they were not together in this last year, my dad wore his wedding ring until the day he died.

Now on top of dealing with the loss of my daddy, I am having to get his funeral, burial, and other things in order- with almost no time to process what has happened. I never had an idea the costs associated with all of these things, such as a burial plot, a headstone, funeral home expenses, previous bills, moving expenses for his things that are over 3 hours away from me, storage fees for those items, and so many other associated expenses. This is quickly turning into something that is going to cost me thousands of dollars. Anything you can give to help would mean more to me than you know. I have a very short time to take care of these expenses and no way to pay for all of these things.

If any of you can bring my daddy back, so that I can hear his voice, hug him tighter than ever before, or even just to say goodbye.... I would take that over any amount of money. I know that is not possible, and as hard as this is for me, I'm asking humbly for any help you can give  to help me give my daddy the final goodbye that he deserves.

With heartbreak,
