Help Our Friend and Colleague Tommy Rupp

Tommy Rupp, who some of you may know as the “Mayor of Bozeman,” is Teton Gravity Research’s Retail Director. Tommy is one of the kindest, most outgoing people we know. Everyone that meets Tommy considers him a friend for life. Based in Bozeman, Tommy oversees retail operations for TGR’s six locations in Bozeman, Breckenridge, Driggs, and Jackson Hole.

On August 25th, Tommy suffered life-changing spinal injuries while mountain biking in the Tetons with friends. He was transported to Idaho Falls for immediate care, and after many hours of surgery, he is stable and working with his medical team to determine next steps. In the coming days, his family has plans to have Tommy transported to an in-patient rehab center.

Through all of it, Tommy has remained resolute and continues to share his contagious, positive energy with everyone around him. We want to help Tommy as he transitions to the dramatic changes in his life ahead.

All funds raised here will help ease anticipated financial expenses that an accident of this magnitude can have on an individual and their family. Your contributions will help cover immediate costs: Tommy’s heli transport to a rehab facility and necessary ADA accessibility improvements for his home. Funds will also go towards future expenses such as a hand-controlled vehicle and additional adaptive equipment and resources so that he can continue to live life to its fullest.

For all of us who have experienced Tommy’s contagious stoke and passion for life - whether on the streets of Bozeman or mountain trails around the West - we are luckier for it.
