Through these tough times, our family is trying to keep our heads up high. With the loss of our grandfather last month on Feb. 22nd, and our grandmother this month on Mar. 22nd, we continue to battle more challenges now for my youngest brother, Tommy Nem, who has terminal cancer.
He’s resting well in hospice after being homeless all winter. Our loving brother has faced so many challenges in life. Five years ago, he was given a second chance at life after his brain tumor surgery removal. Throughout these years leading to today, he has had countless open head surgeries. Life hasn’t been easy for him since.
At 30 years old, our brother left behind not only cherished memories, family, and his brothers, but he also left us a legacy. His sweet 6-year-old daughter, Lily Nem. Throughout the battles he faced in life, he never gave up on being the best dad to his daughter. He never gave up being nice when he had no one around to help. His sacrifice to be close with his daughter showed how much someone is willing to break their own limits just for the ones they love. He did that to the very end.
We all will miss you, bro! We love you!! We promise to take care of Lily as she’s like my own daughter. You may rest easy now, and may God take away all your pain and suffering. I wish there was more that I could do. I love you and miss you so much, man… Thank you for being our brother. Thank you for all the best childhood memories. You deserve so much more.
We ask anyone—friends, family, and any contributors—for your help during these toughest times in our year. Your donations mean so much.
Please help share to reach our donation goal for Tommy Nem. May God bless you all for your kindness.
