Tommy needs a heart

This is an account to help my nephew, Tommy Burnette, with a lifesaving heart transplant and medicines he will need before and after.
Having these funds available as soon as possible will assure Tommy gets the earliest chance for this life saving transplant
Tommy Burnette age 50 is suffering from heart failure and kidney failure. He is on the heart transplant list at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.
Before he can even be considered for this life saving procedure he must have $5,000.00 to $10,000.00 sitting in an account at the Georgia Transplant Foundation which will match the money dollar for dollar, which assures the transplant team that he will be able to afford the trips to the doctor and the anti rejection medicine. Plus when the surgery does take place they will need to stay within 30 miles of the hospital for four weeks after he is released from the hospital. So having these funds available as soon as possible will assure Tommy gets the earliest chance at this life saving transplant.
Before Tommy comes home to wait for a donor heart he will have an LVAD which is Left Ventricular Assist Device placed in his chest to keep his diseased heart functioning until a donor heart is available.
Tommy and his wife Kendra Hicks Burnette live in Ringgold, GA and they have two daughters 8 and 6.
These funds will only be used for Tommy's medical needs up to and including the transplant and aftercare.
