PARADISE LOST
Our teammate, coach, teacher, and friend Tommy LeBlanc and wife, Pat - lost everything in the recent Paradise, CA fire. Not only did they lose their home and all their worldly possessions but even more tragically, their beloved daughter.
Those of us who played football at Springfield College with Tommy remember him fondly as a great guy. He always had a smile on his face even when delivering a bone-crushing tackle. Coaching, teaching, and mentoring others has always been in Tommy’s DNA. After SC, many of you knew him as “Coach” in Germany, directing sports for the U.S. defense forces there while others know him as a teacher at Paradise High School. The one thing that has been constant in his life has been his service and dedication to kids.
Now he is facing a giant challenge - putting his family's life together. He and his wife need our support. This terrible situation has been compounded by the fact that his wife is currently receiving chemo therapy for cancer.
Stand with Tommy and Pat and show them that you care. At Springfield College, we have always considered our teammates and classmates - family, it is now time to show your love and support for Tommy and Pat LeBlanc.
Anything that you can contribute to
