Tommy George is a husband, a father, a hometown hero, a local legend, a man that everyone knows and loves in our beloved community. Devastatingly, Tommy was diagnosed with Early-Onset Alzheimer’s Disease and quickly moved into the advanced stages. The current state of his health now requires round-the-clock care of a medical professional, which sadly extends beyond what anyone could have imagined.
Tommy, 53, is a Long Branch native and graduate of Long Branch High School, grew up on the beach, played college football at the University of Maryland, and returned home to open Thomas James Crystal.
Tommy resides in Oceanport with his wife, Patrice, and their three children, Tommy Jr (23), Holly (19), Summer (10). As many of you know, family means everything to Tommy. As a child and father, Tommy was always first in the ocean and last at the playground. He cherishes being surrounded by his children, family and friends.
Though Tommy’s smile continues to light up every room, he now needs your help. As his condition declines, his family strives to deliver the necessary level of care while keeping Tommy safely at home. They want to capture every last moment together and race to make even more memories to treasure. Thank you for any support you can offer – no gift is too small.
