Tommy was a man who lived life for his family and to the fullest. Sadly he became ill and as he quickly deteriorated the doctors speculated anything from a blood clot to returning leukemia.

He had, in fact, acquired thrombocytopenia, but this is not what ended his life. It was a severe blockage of the vena cava vein that starved his body from receiving the nutrients he needed to survive. This blockage swiftly deteriorated his well being, ending his life November 16, 2022.

In his last months of life his day to day was lovingly cared for by his wife, Katie, and their son, Terrence, who took a pause in their lives pleasures and took an unpaid leave from work so they could make sure he had every ounce of love and essentials he needed.

With Tommy’s passing comes a mound of bills and expenses. His wishes were for a simple cremation, and that comes at a cost of almost $1,700 alone. Anything you can donate to help his family is greatly appreciated.
