Tommy Canfield Celebration of Life

Donation protected

As you may or may not know, Tommy Canfield (Point72’s chief engineer), was diagnosed with terminal cancer in early 2017.  At that time, Tommy was told he could have between two months to six years to live.  Tommy was a champ throughout this past year, always had a positive and upbeat attitude, and pursued any and all treatments available to him, including some experimental protocols.

Despite of all this, Tommy's illness became much more aggressive in 2018.  Sadly, his doctors recently told him that in his current condition he should only expect to live a few more weeks.

Tommy is an incredible person and gives 100% to everything he does – his laughter is infectious and he is always willing to lend a helping hand, or share his expert mechanical and electrical advice.  His dedication and willingness to see everything through to the end is unparalleled, and he has applied these same attributes to his courageous battle with cancer.

Because Tommy has impacted so many of our lives, we wanted to ask you to help make a positive impact on Tommy’s family during this extremely difficult time.  His wife, Robyn Canfield, and daughter, Karianne, will need help as they enter this new phase of their lives without Tommy.  Karianne is a returning sophomore at Bard College.  The funds will be used to assist with funeral, educational and living expenses.

We sincerely appreciate your consideration.
