To All Our Wonderful Family and Friends
A few weeks ago Tommy went to see a surgeon for what he thought was to have hernia surgery, which is what he was first diagnosed with. Little did we know Tommy not only had a hernia, but he also found out that he had pancreatic cancer. The bad news didn't stop there because they also found that the cancer had already spread to his kidneys, liver, lungs and lymph nodes. Tommy has been very sick, unable to eat much and has continued to lose a lot of weight.
Yesterday, April 9, 2019, we went to Tommy's first doctors appointment with the cancer doctor. The diagnosis was not good, but Tommy is a fighter and plans to fight as long as he has the strength to do so. They diagnosed Tommy with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer and it is inoperable. With Chemo they think Tommy may live another 9-12 months, and without Chemo maybe another 3 months. We refuse to give up and know that with God anything is possible.
Tommy was the main provider for our household and his illness has really put a financial strain on our family. We have medical and household bills piling up. We hate to ask for help but anything you can give would be greatly appreciated. I just want him to concentrate on fighting to beat this cancer and not worry about the bills that are piling up. We understand if you are not able to help and we just ask that you help by praying for us and Tommy as we fight this battle together. We also ask that even if you can't give to please share so that others may see this.
Thank You and God Bless!
