Tommie Robinson needs our help to bury his son

A parent should NEVER have to bury their child. But my best friend Tommie has to bury his 3rd family member in 6 months.

Tommie had 5 biological children that he raised. If that wasn't enough, he took on the responsibility of raising his neice's children as well.

Tommie is a good man. A very good man who helps anyone in need and gives what little he has to many in need.

Tommy has been a Public Servant for most of his life. He was a Councilman for the Borough of Darby. He also works for the County of Delaware. He devoted his time to helping those in need of guidance and stability in the Community Service Department, then for the Department of Emergency Services and now for the Delaware County Health Department.

Tragedy has entered his life with the loss of 3 children in 6 months.

First he lost his oldest son Montes Johnson-Robinson to gun violence. This was a totally unexpected tragedy that severely affected his family.

A few months later, his great nephew Marquan lost his life to gun violence in Philadelphia.

And lastly, yesterday April 19, 2023, Tommie lost his youngest son Tee, who was 27 years old. Tee's passing was totally unexpected as well. Tee went to bed and never woke up. He died of natural causes complicated by sleep apnea, asthma and weight gain. Unfortunately, Tee could not have the proper Healthcare to deal with these medical issues as he did not have health insurance.

Tee was just like his dad. He loved his music, cars and was a good person with a big heart and a super smile from ear to ear.

Tommie and his wife Carla have suffered more than any parent should ever suffer. Still grieving the loss of Montes and Marquan, now having to pay for his third funeral for Tee AKA Tommie the 3rd.

As expected, Tommie and Carla have missed many days of work dealing with the loss of their young family members.

I've known them both for over 25 years both as residents of Darby and Yeadon and Tommie as a coworker who goes above and beyond all the time for the County of Delaware.

Please try to help them bury their youngest child. Tee would have turned 28 years old on May 6th. Any amount will be so greatly appreciated. I put the goal at $15,000 to help them recover some of the loss of wages and expenses during the last few months and to give Tee a proper burial.
