Support Tomi Kufel - Final Year at LMU

Donation protected
Dear friends, acquaintances, sponsors, and the world,

My name is Tomi Kufel, I am an international student from Poland, and a passionate filmmaker from age 12. After completing my high-school education in Norway, I was accepted to one of the top film schools in United States: Loyola Marymount University's School of Film and Television.

I am currently finishing my third out of four years of B.A. in "Film & TV Production" and I am expected to graduate by summer 2023.

The cost of attendance is proving exceptionally challenging, however: the tuition and LMU fees alone for the year 2022-2023 stand at $56 741, with additional funding necessary to cover the cost of annual student housing, meal plan, senior thesis production costs, health insurance, transportation fees and living expenses.

To help cover this expense, I have been annually taking the maximum from the Norwegian government (although this value fluctuates depending on the exchange rate and  the increasing strength of the dollar), and receive an annual $8 000 Scholarship from LMU. Besides the scholarships, available resources, family support, individual paid work at LMU, I am still left unable to cover the full cost of the education and attendance at LMU. The missing amount I need support with is $32 000.

Here's a Google link to budget spreadsheet, letter of endorsement from the British International School of Stavanger, my portfolio, as well as Tuition and Fees cost bulletin from LMU:

YOUR HELP and CONTRIBUTIONS will help make impact: fundraising the remaining amount will mean that I'll be able to complete my degree at LMU, go on to work in the film industry, and use my filmmaking to change the world for the better. I cannot thank enough for those who have already supported, and continue to support me in my ambitious journey. Thank you.
