With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Mother, a vibrant, generous, and deeply loving soul, who transitioned on 08 May 2025 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

In 2021, Tomeko was diagnosed with breast cancer. She began chemotherapy but chose to pursue a holistic healing journey, determined to face her illness on her own terms. Despite her strength and hope, in 2024, the cancer tragically metastasized to her lungs, reaching stage 4 and becoming incurable.

Throughout these challenging years, Tomeko faced her illness with incredible strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit. However, March 2025 marked a difficult turn in her journey, leading to hospitalization and eventually her peaceful passing. Even in her final moments, Tomeko remained humble, radiant, and committed to living fully, refusing to let illness define her spirit.

Originally from Bermuda, Tomeko made the brave move to the UK in 2016, seeking a better life, new opportunities, and the chance to expand her horizons and travel. While in the UK, she pursued further education and found meaningful work at Royal Mail, where she was well respected and valued for her dedication and positive spirit.

Those who knew Tomeko remember her as outgoing, vibrant, and always willing to help—whether it was offering a place to stay, a kind word, or her time and energy. She worked tirelessly to provide for her children, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally.

Now, as we navigate this profound loss, we are reaching out for your support to help fulfill Tomeko's wishes, honor her legacy and ensure she can return home to Bermuda with her children. We also aim to alleviate the financial burden of funeral arrangements during this difficult time.
