Buy Senator Tom Cotton's Vote

Betsy DeVos and her allies have contributed $8,300.00 to Tom Cotton and have appeared to have bought his vote. I propose that we try to raise $8,301.00 to out bid them.
We can not sit back and allow an unqualified person like DeVos to be appointed as the Secretary of Education on Monday - now Tuesday - morning. Help us by contributing what you can.
Any money's collected over the legal contribution amount* will be split evenly among Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families , and the ACLU in the name of all contributors.
*if it is decided that this contribution is considered a bribe and won't be accepted by Senator Cotton then the entire amount will go to the organizations listed (and I will throw in Lucie's Place because Senator Cotton wouldn't make a contribution to support LGBTQ homeless youth to save his life ).
**update - HippyUSA has graciously asked that we not include them as a recipient and we respectfully honor that request. The money will be divided into three increments to the remaining groups.
