Fundraiser: Grave Marker in Memory of Ronnie Akins
Donation protected

November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, which coincides with our efforts to raise money to purchase a grave marker for Mr. Ronnie Akins. He tragically was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in June of 2018 and had passed over to a better place in early October.
Ronnie served the public for 25 years as a Pennsylvania State Police Trooper and retired in 2008 as Corporal Ronnie Akins. In 1994, Ron also began a new venture in the Tile and Marble field where hard work, honesty and integrity were core values of the business he built. He was extremely dedicated and stood behind all his work subsequently passing these extremely hard work ethic qualities to his 4 sons.
A cheerful and a loving husband, father of 4 wonderful children, grandfather and friend, Ronnie was always on everyone's side in times of laughter and in need. He always was known to crack a joke whenever there was an opportunity, making him the channel of joy and laughter to everyone around him. He had a truly warm smile and was a genuine kindhearted person. If you ever needed anything he was there; a true embodiment of someone who would give the shirt off his back.
We, his family and friends, want to give back to the selflessness Ron displayed during his life and help give him a tribute proper to his legacy. We want to ease the difficulty of this tough time by allowing his family to mourn him without the financial burden as even the simplest headstones are costly.

Please consider giving towards this cause and helping us mark his final resting place. All donations will go towards his tombstone. Thank you so much for your consideration and contribution.
