Raising money for my mom's memorial, funeral, and caregiving expenses. My mom had battled a heart condition for over two decades and had a pacemaker placed on her heart 10 years ago. She had stroke 2 years ago, which left her entire left side paralyzed.

Most recently, she was diagnosed with stomach cancer a month ago. My family kept hope while we prepared for her surgery that took place two weeks ago. After speaking to the medical staff at  Emanate Health Queen of the Valley Hospital in West Covina, the doctor informed us that the surgery was not successful and that the cancer had spread. She then spent 8 days in ICU on life support till she regained her strength and was able to breathe on her own. The doctor also told us to try to spend as much time with our mom since he did not know how much time she had left. We were in disbelief, our mom was paralyzed but alive, eating, talking no more than a month prior. My mom was given the opportunity to go home last week. A few days later, this past Fiday my mom took her last breath on this earth. My moms passing seems to have happened in a blink of an eye. My mom has had a tough life, but she was always joking,  smiling, and never hesitated to help someone in need. She was an amazing woman.

She leaves behind 7 children, 13 grand kids, and her husband. I will miss you mom and the way you use to look at me with a mother's unconditional love. Before she passed she shared her dying wishes with me. I want to make sure I can give her a proper memorial and burial.
