The family and friends of Tomas Rodriguez are uniting to raise money to help with funeral expenses and day-to-day living expenses.
Hello everyone,
My name is Kerian Rodriguez and along with my sister, Milly, we are asking for contributions to help cover living expenses for our fathers at home hospice care. As many of you may know, our dad, Tomas Rodriguez Jr., has suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage. Despite all medical efforts, he has been left with extensive brain damage. His chances for recovery are very slim and will be transferred to at home hospice care. We are not accustomed to asking for charity, but life has dealt us a card we did not see coming, nor did we prepare for. So now, we turn to our loved ones; family, friends, and our community to help us with any donation possible to fund Tomas’ living expenses for his at home hospice care and provide him the best care and comfort during his final moments on this earth.
Tomas Rodriguez Jr. is an amazing man. Optimistic, loving, lover of life and one of the most selfless people I have ever met. He always enjoyed helping anyone he could, putting everyone before himself and never expecting anything in return. Family or not, Tomas welcomed you with open arms treating you as if you were family. His contagious smile would light up the room. He is a great loving father, brother, son, and friend. Throughout this difficult process we have seen the amount of people our dad has impacted and how he has not only captured our hearts but the hearts of many. Our family is so grateful for all those who have shown us their love, appreciation, and support for our dad throughout this difficult time.
Our dad is our world. Watching his health slowly deteriorate has been the hardest thing our family has endured. We are not ready to let our daddy go. But the Lord Jesus Christ has other plans and it brings my sister and I joy to know that one day we will meet our daddy again. Through prayer and faith our family will overcome this troubling time.
