My name is Tomas Wright and I am a senior student athlete who plays football at Bryant University.
Throughout my career at Bryant University, I have been blessed with success and some of my memorable accomplishments are:
2018 Golden Helmet Award recipient
2018 First Team All-Northeast Conference
2018 All-ECAC First Team Selection
2018 Bryant University Defensive Lineman of the Year
2018 set the single-season program sack record with 12.5 sacks
2019 set the program record for career sacks with 30.5
The Bryant University football team is a Division 1 Football Championship Subdivision program that has only been in existence for 25 years. It has been difficult for me to get the exposure I need in order to get an opportunity to take my talents to the next level. I have been blessed to receive 4 senior bowl invitations during my senior season. I have decided to participate in the College Gridiron Small College Showcase, which is held in Fort Worth, Texas on January 3-5, 2020. This showcase has averaged 31 NFL teams and more than 100 + NFL Scouts at their event, and the top 10 performers of this group will earn a spot at the College Gridiron Showcases’ 4-day event to compete against Football Bowl Subdivision prospects.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to pursue one of my dreams since I was a young boy. The only issue is the cost to attend this event. I am required to pay the registration fee, transportation, housing, and my own meals. I simply am not able to save up the necessary funds for this showcase in time. Any donation no matter how large or small will tremendously help me attend such a prestigious opportunity. Thank you all for your consideration to donate.
