On Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at around 10:30am Tomas Retiz - Husband to Linda Retiz, Dad to Tommy, Ruben and Daniel Retiz and Papa to Gus and Lola Retiz - was abruptly taken by ICE while on his work route.

Tomas is currently detained at the Otay Mesa Ice Detention Facility.

His family is in need of help during this devastating and uncharted journey that might bring him home.

Tomas is the sole financial provider for his wife Linda, who is disabled and will need support to live a comfortable and stable lifestyle. Our family is coming together to bring Linda, Tomas, their sons and grandchildren under one roof.

Donations will be used for legal council and all associated fees, as well as contact and necessities for Tomas’s connection with family and personal welfare. Day to day living costs, care and help to move Linda in with the Family will also need to be covered.

Our goal is to have a safe and supported place for Tomas to come home to after this traumatic and unwanted experience.
