Hi Loving Community,

My name is Angelica Hernandez.
Peace and blessings. On Thursday, 03/07/2024, my Father, Tomas Ceja, passed away. As the Next of Kin, I feel honored to lead the intercession for the repose of the soul of my dad. I am thankful for our Loving Community and appreciate any support towards the dwelling, expenses, and services for my dad. Thank you so much in advance for taking the time to read, pray, and send my family and I most welcomed words of encouragement. Thank you again, God bless you and your families Amen.

With Love,
Angelica Hernandez and Family Ceja.
Although this time is a time of mourning, God also calls us to count all trials as Joy. Therefore, I am pleased to be able to tell you a Love story of God’s unconditional Love and Mercy.
My father and I were not close, since the end of my late childhood years until recently. God sent him my way again in 2022 when I got pregnant with my 2nd baby, Victoria. It all started with a phone call where he asked me if I was craving sweet bread from La Favorita bakery. Pregnant, my hormones made me answer without hesitation, “yes!” And as I opened the doors to my father, this commenced a start of a new relationship. He would call me once a week asking for my well being and sometimes would bring bread, fruit, jello, etc. for my family. He would come over and visit us and stay awhile too. His great consistency of selfless love made me fall in love with my daddy greatly. Fast forward to December 12, 2023, he got admitted to the hospital for a leg injury and from there his health started deteriorating faster. The injury on his leg resulted in an infection, which spread through his blood, causing liver failure, kidney failure, and other complications with his diabetes. Later added to this list: anemia, pneumonia, and heart failure. Well, focusing back to the Love of God and great mercy, I made the decision of spending my day off with my girls and my daddy on Presidents’ Day. Towards the end of our day, as I was driving him back, the girls took a nap and I got the opportunity and courage from God to talk to him. I revealed to him my feelings of abandonment due to his absence in my life. However, I went on and shared that through his acts of love in being concerned for my well being and the well being of my family, that this made me see God’s Glory of my dad’s conversion as my father. That day I told my daddy that I love him so much and I forgive him from all the negatives of our past. My dad answered me that day that he sees great value of me and my daughters and that he will not hurt us and that he loves us so much. From that day on, he struggled a lot: managing the realities of his physical condition, going in and out hospitals and clinics, being denied medical care. During the last 2 weeks of his short life, my dad stayed at my house. I loved that man so very much. He interacted with my girls and played with them until the last gasp of air.

Now I pray: Blessed are you oh Lord my God who has allowed me to Love my dad and cherish his last moments of love as he enjoyed playing with my daughters and accepting any little help of relief I could offer him. May his soul Rest in peace❤️…
