TOM’S TWO YEAR + BATTLE
This is Tom. He is a husband, a father, a grandfather, a son, a brother, an uncle, a cousin and a friend. In April, 2016, at the age of 58, Tom Ulik was diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. His doctors gave him 3 to 6 months to live.

Tom has suffered through many bouts of chemo, with all the side effects leaving him weak in body, but strong in mind and spirit. Along with his family and friends, Tom fought, prayed and persevered.
One year later on September 11, 2017, the scans showed the impossible, Tom had astonished the doctors and everyone. His cancer was in REMISSION.
This lasted two months. His next scan showed the cancer had returned with a vengeance. Aggressive chemo treatments were again started with undetermined results. After research, Tom decided to do a natural and chemotherapy regime in Arizona. He spent two months there and there has been improvement, but the cost to date has been over $100,000 and insurance will not cover this. Tom has returned to Wisconsin and will begin radiation and chemo. Tom’s fight continues.
It has been two years since Tom was first diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Throughout his struggle, treatments and pain, Tom remains positive and strong in his beliefs.
