Tom's Chance To Run

Tom is an 11 year old boy with cerebral palsy. He has defied the odds to lead a very active life and does not let cerebral palsy define his abilities. This year Tom was gifted a RaceRunning bike at a whopping cost of $8,000. This bike has given Tom the chance and freedom to run and compete in Para Athletics and now he has the dream of representing his country.

We would like to give back to his local community by running in the Virtual City to Surf 14 km event with the help of his friends in QLD.

On Sunday the 19th October 2020, Tom will run as many km as he can at Victoria Park.

How can you help?

By donating or sponsoring Tom to Run his longest race. Any donation Big or small will help us to purchase bikes for SA kids

Anyone can run! RaceRunning is an innovative sport for people with a physical disability who have impaired balance, who are not able to functionally run, regardless of age. A RaceRunner trike is a custom built three wheeled frame where the runner is fully supported by a saddle and chest plate so they are able to propel themselves forward by the feet, while using hands to steer.

Participating in RaceRunning provides each individual the freedom to move and run in a supported and balanced way without a walker or wheelchair.

RaceRunning is a liberating sport allowing children and adults with impaired balance the chance to run - what could be better?
