Tom's London Marathon for The PDA Society
On 2nd October 2022, I am (finally!) running the London Marathon in memory of my brother Dave, who sadly passed away in February 2019.
Dave was so loved by all that knew him. He was a talented musician, a great friend, a kind and funny brother, a loving son, but above all an absolutely incredible father.
As a family, we would like to raise money for the PDA Society, who are a small charity that do so much to help raise awareness of Pathological Demand Avoidance, part of the autistic spectrum. Dave himself was autistic. The money raised will help the Society to continue to provide much-needed one-to-one support through its enquiry line, and prepare new resources and training materials to help doctors, teachers, social workers and others to understand how PDA affects people and how to help.
Thank you so much for everyone’s kindness and generosity.
