As many of you may or may not know Tom was diagnosed with stage 3 throat cancer. He has been going through chemo and radiation treatments everyday for the past 5 weeks and only has a few weeks left until he completes treatment. Tom is an amazing person that has done a lot for our community. He has been President of the Salt City Rock and Blues helping put together events to raise money for a amphitheater at First street beach. For many years Tom was a big part of the Manistee ARC program helping with events/party’s and even coaching and winning a basketball state championship with the program. A local member of the Manistee Steal Works Union for many many years, Retired from Martin Marietta after 45 years. Tom is a Loving Father, Husband, Grandfather, and brother.
