Tom Symski camp fund
Donation protected
Stephen Tom Symski has passed after his battle with pancreatic cancer for the past 6 years. He was a great father to all three of his kids and loved working with the scouting program. He made an effort to come to the camp and help out at the camp every year that he could even when his sons had graduated from the program.
He would participate and donate to Edmund D. Strang scout reservation whenever he could. He spend countless hours maintaining the camp trucks, cleaning camp property, painting, whatever needed doing he would do.
He also ran the camp master program for years which involved organizing people to watch the camp on the weekends while troops rented out the different buildings around the camp.
EDIT: I want to set up a memorial fund that will be used to purchase a a 10’ x 20’ pavilion of wood and asphalt shingles. The pavilion will create a more permanent solution rather than a carport, and will provide a covered location for year-round programs.
