Tom Sabo, a helping friend, needs your help
Donation protected
One man’s art of making people smile with performance art, pies and delicious meals, could use a smile of his own.
Tom Sabo is a selfless man. Always reaching out to others with his “artikins,” recycled pots and pans turned into mannequin sculptures, or as “Tom the pieman,” baking and donating delicious pies on countless occasions. He is a standup individual whom I'm sure a lot of you could call a friend.
Tom has fallen on hard times. He needs financial help. After losing his job during the pandemic, he moved up to his hometown way up north (Madawaska, Maine; that’s wayy up north), to go back to his roots and settle into this next chapter of his life.
Unfortunately, Tom developed cataracts that are now threatening his vision completely. Additionally, the freezing cold winter has made it hard for him to keep moving.
Tom needs to pay for expensive eye surgery to prevent blindness, and could use help with living expenses and a better shelter.
For those of you who know Tom, you know this money won't go to waste, and he will be resourceful in setting himself up. Any amount of donation will help. If you can't donate, please share this page- particularly with those who knew Tom. Thank you.
