Our father, Thomas Keith Ioane Rycroft, unexpectedly passed away sometime early on Thanksgiving at the age of 70.  Born in Honolulu, Hawai’i, Tom or Tommy (to his family) served our country for 20 years.  As a longtime member of Eckankar, he was a high initiate and served in a leadership position in the DC area.  He was a friend, a son, a brother, an uncle, and most importantly a father.  We knew him to be kind and thoughtful and someone who quietly touched lives everywhere he went.  And although his energy levels had been waning for a time, his humor, his modesty, and his charm never diminished.

Please help us to raise the money needed to bring our father home to Hawai’i to rest in love where he belongs, with his Mother, Father, Brother and many ancestors and where he ultimately longed to be.  Any and all contributions collected will go to his three children - Jenna (37), Teddy (22) and Amanda (18), as they take care of his affairs in DC and together make the journey back to the islands to celebrate his life.

We are grateful and humbled by the outpouring of love and  support from ones he loved and that loved him.
