~ Tom Mohr's Medical Expense & Rehabilitation Fundraiser ~

Hi everyone! This fundraiser is for Tom Mohr to help offset some of his medical expenses, during and after surgery. (One of his Rx alone was $150 which is ludicrous!) He had back surgery last Monday and is in considerable pain with very little ability to move comfortably. Recovery time and rehabilitation can take up to 6 months or more. He lives alone & needs our help. Let’s pull together as a community, near & far, especially his YG Family, to help him during his time of need. Please help pay it forward to someone so selfless and from the words of my child.... caring. 

For those of you who don’t know Tom, he’s one of our favorite Veterans, but most importantly he’s a kind, compassionate man who has watched over & protected many of our children as a volunteer crossing guard at Yujin Gakuen Elementary School.  He has often said, "I'd stand in front of a bullet for your child." We know without a doubt he would and has been hit by a car in doing so.  We can't put a price on the genuine love and devotion he has for our children, even still for those who have long since graduated. We love you Tom and appreciate you sooo VERY much!

PS I've since learned that he has a small and older car that is nearly ready to retire. It's also quite difficult to get his heavy wheelchair in and out of.  This is his transportation to the school, medical appointments, etc. If anyone has one they can donate it would go to someone very deserving. If not let's help him provide him with a safe and dependable van.
