Tom Madison Ski Accident Fundraiser
Donation protected
Our dear friend Tom took quite the tumble Saturday while skiing at Copper. We were on the backside when we came across a cat track with a fairly large drop off. This cat track caught his skis (as well as many others who didn’t see it coming) and ejected him down the mountain. He was knocked unconscious and woke with neck pain. After the x-rays didn’t find anything they strongly recommended that he take an ambulance to the Frisco hospital for further investigation. One CT scan and another x-ray later they discovered a broken bone in his neck. From there, he was sent on an ambulance from Frisco to Denver and will be there recovering in a halo neck brace for the next few days. It's likely he will need the halo brace for the next 2+ months.
Unfortunately, this means he will be out of work for a while and has pretty hefty ambulance/medical bills. Anything you can donate to assist at this time would be greatly appreciated.
Tom has such a kind heart and is always a joy to be around. We wish him the speediest of recoveries. This is an evolving situation, I will do my best to keep this page updated as he recovers.
