Hello all, we have recently endured a somewhat large vet bill on account of one of our dogs in the prison training program eating a little bit of a cloth sheet when he got bored, as we all know dogs do stupid things sometimes and accidents happen! And also as we know vet bills are expensive! So this handsome gentleman Tom decided one day he was bored and was wondering what a bed sheet might taste like, now had he stopped there the cloth may have passed on its own, but NO, Tom decided he was going to try to fix the problem himself and eat a bunch of grass as well lol so then he was taken to the ER where they needed to proceed cutting his belly open and removing the very impressive large ball of grass!!!( from what I was told by vet) So here we are...Tom is doing well! out of surgery and back with the people that love him! However it ran close to about $5,000! Of course that does not compare to Tom's life but canine collective is hoping once again our supportive community will come together and help us endure this unexpected cost.

Tom is going to be just fine! he has 20 staples in his stomach that will need removed in about 2 weeks, he needs to take it easy for about a week.. but other than that he came through everything just fine!
