Tom Love the founder of Airtight Inflatables and creator of the SHREDDER, the world's first and greatest whitewater paddlecat passed away on June 22nd, 2020. Tom left behind a legacy of several thousand boats he created and helped build through his decades in Ohiopyle. Though these boats have brought many people happy days on the water, Tom expanded that fun through his charm, quick wit, and willingness to help get people on the water. In short, Tom made everyone's lives more fun once he got involved.
Tom's legacy of building "the best boat possible, out of American made products, for a fair price" will live on, however we're hoping the legacy of the medical expenses in his final day will not also live on as a burden for Dolores and the rest of his family.
At the time of writing this we have no idea what the expenses beyond what Tom's insurance coverage will be, but based on the transportation and procedures in an attempt to extend the time they would have with their loved one and we would all have with our friend, it is looking like the expenses will likely exceed $10,000. If you will join me in donating money to Tom Love's memorial fund we can ease this final burden from Dolores and his family moving forward.
