On March 3rd, Tom went in for open heart surgery, which went well. The next day he suffered a stroke which lead to having emergency brain surgery to stop the bleeding. He continued to have multiple strokes after surgery and unfortunately the damage was too severe. Cathy and the boys made the hard decision to take him off of life support on March 13th and he passed on March 14th.
