My name is Kaitlyn Doherty, and my dad, Tom Doherty, needs some help.

My Dad has struggled with alcoholism for many years and willingly decided to get help through a hospital-based detox program. On Monday, October 10th, he was admitted to a local hospital to begin his detox treatment. On Wednesday, October 12th, he fell face-first onto the hard hospital floor, which left him with an orbital floor fracture of the left eye. He was transferred to Stonybrook University Hospital, where he has been receiving detox treatment and recovering from his injuries.

My Dad has not had health insurance for multiple years. His medical bills are piling up, along with other financial issues. My two older brothers and the rest of my family want my Dad to be okay again.
