- Despite recent curve balls thrown Tom's way, he has been bestowed as an "anomaly" by his medical team. I would say he is indeed an anomaly in more ways than one; Despite ongoing chemo treatments and some scary moments, he doesn't flinch (I am convinced he is an undercover superhero). - UPDATE 4/1/23: Message from Tom: "I'm feeling good in myself right now, got a long road ahead of me but I'm more than up for the challenge. Thank you to everyone that's donated so far. It means more than you know."
- Tom is gearing up to go through round 2 of chemo and he is taking off his boxing gloves and going in with bare knuckles, fists swinging with force. We should all learn a few lessons from Tom - He continues to push forward with unwavering courage, optimism, and humor. Let's continue to send him our love, healing light, and all of the positive energy you can muster up to help him kick cancer's ass. #TeamTom
- UPDATE 3/10/23: Tom has been updated on his fundraiser and your messages of love and encouragement. He is "melting" (his words) with gratitude and is so moved by all of your love and support. Tom will be in the hospital for several more weeks so if we can keep this momentum going, it will allow us to provide the long-term care and support he needs. Tom Davies, friend to all, brother to many, father of kittens, brilliant musician, bassist of Nebula, and quite the witty Englishman, is in the midst of battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia. His AML diagnosis was an unexpected shock that changed Tom's life in a matter of weeks.
Tom is currently receiving chemotherapy and continued aggressive treatment is needed which leads us to this moment when, as powerless as we may feel, we can do something to support and show love for a dynamic and compassionate man that wouldn't hesitate to help someone in need.
Due to Tom’s diagnosis, he is unable to tour or work. Tom’s girlfriend, immediate friends, and family are doing all they can to help but, as many of you know, medical bills are very expensive let alone day-to-day bills. Any donation big, or small, will be accepted with gratitude and will go directly to support Tom's continued treatment. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you send Tom positive vibes however you see fit (prayer, meditation, healing energy, etc. ) and share this link to help spread the word.
