Hello everyone,

My name is Sharon Davey, and I never imagined I'd be writing something like this.

On Thursday, my husband Tom Davey got the all-clear from cancer. We were overjoyed, and for the first time in a long while we could finally breathe again and start looking forward to the future. Then, completely without warning, he suffered a heart attack on Sunday night and passed away. We are all still in shock and trying to come to terms with losing him so suddenly, just days after we thought the hardest part was behind us.

I'm setting up this page to help cover the cost of his funeral. It's not something I ever expected to have to think about right now, and the costs involved are more than I can manage alone at such short notice.

Any contribution, big or small, would help enormously and take some of the weight off my shoulders during an incredibly difficult time. Funds raised will go directly towards funeral costs, including [the service, cremation, wake/reception]. Sharing this page also helps just as much as donating.
