All the messages and support have been amazing and much appreciated.

Dad's funeral will be on Friday 28th February 2025, 10am at Glynhill Hotel (169 Paisley Road, Renfrew, PA4 8XB, United Kingdom). Then onto Bishopton Cemetery for 11am where he will be reunited with my mum. Bishopton is where Ewan lives, and my parents lived when they first got married. All welcome.

After we welcome everyone to join us at Ewan's house (9 Rossland Gardens, Bishopton, PA7 5NA) for some snacks, drinks and quite possibly a toast of whisky, one of my dad's favorites.

I know that a number of people have asked about sending cards and are welcome to send to Ewan Crawford in the UK (9 Rossland Gardens, Bishopton, PA7 5NA or to Judith in the US (35 Bridgham Farm Rd, Rumford, RI, 02916).

The funeral home in the UK, doesn't have the same setup as in the US for funeral notices via a website. Hence, we are using gofundme as a proxy for an announcement. I know several people have asked if there is a charity they can donate to. While nothing is expected if anyone would like to, we plan to donate the money to dementia groups my dad loved going to his favorites were Singing Buddies (which is very close to shutting down due to lack of funding) and Football (soccer) Memories. Any donations received will be matched dollar for dollar by the family before passing on the full amount.

Link to Singing Buddies Website for information on the program:

Below are some pictures to give you a flavor and an insight into his life.

A young Tom with his parents. His dad, also called Thomas and Janet.

Before they got married by the coast in Scotland. They met at the dancing in Glasgow.
Wedding in 1966. My Dad is still upset England won the world cup the same year.
Early family picture, Ewan less than one and Judith six. We don't have many of the four of us as my Mum hated her picture being taken.
Guernsey at our favorite and kind of only family destination. We stopped going for a while, but we started going with them again 2017 when they could not go alone.

Him having fun at one of the Alzheimer's clubs we are looking to support.

Grateful to all the carers and family that joined his 80th birthday party five years ago.

We are so glad he was able to come to Ewan and Zach's wedding in August.

His character always comes through.
