I'm hoping to raise money to help cover the cost of my grandfather, Tom's medical bills. He was recently diagnosed with cancer and it is not treatable, so we would like to make him as comfortable as possible.

I would love to move him closer to family as I have not seen him in a few years and in such a difficult time, what someone needs most is to be around their loved ones. He's currently in Florida and we're looking to get him into hospice in SC or NY.

Any left over funds will be used to cover the cost of a celebration of life, as requested by my grandfather!

Update for everyone:

My grandpa is currently in NY living with me! We have him set up with a doctor and are working on getting set up with an oncologist at Upstate hospital. We are looking into all options for financial help with his medical bills and medications - this has proven to be very difficult as he is not an established NY resident yet. We continue to appreciate all of the support everyone has shown and we are extremely grateful!
