Tom Bly Retirement Land Tornado Clean Up
Donation protected
Last Tuesday (9/1/2020) a sever thunderstorm spawned a tornado that touched down on Tom Bly's land adjacent to the Little Red River. Tom and his Dad have owned, taken care of, and loved this land for over 20 years. He built a small cabin on this land a few years ago. Recently Tom began putting his retirement plan in action and built a nice shop and had a well dug and septic system installed. He was months away from having his retirement house built out there. To say that this has devastated Tom is an understatement. He and a few volunteers have been busy working to clear the road from the Highway down to the cabin. While they are making some progress, they need a piece of heavy equipment to move the giant trees that were blown over.
Anyone that knows Tom knows that he would do anything for just about anyone. Tom has helped more people out through various ways than most know. Lets help Tom get back on track and raise him some money to help rent the equipment needed to move these giant trees. My understanding is that a 50,000 pound excavator is needed to get the job done and this piece of equipment costs about $5,000 to rent for a month. This equipment is needed ASAP. Thanks for considering helping out Tom in his time of need.
