Tom Bjorkman is the father of five beautiful children ages 1-11 and husband to devoted wife Rachel.  They face difficult trials in the months to come and any financial assistance would be appreciated.

What happened?
Tom was in a serious car accident on Monday, March 5th on his way to work.  He was T-boned, and we are grateful he is doing as well as he is right now.

He is pretty beaten up from head to pelvis.  He has a right sided temporal break, 1cm brain bleed, staples in his head, bruising and scraches.  Broken right, left, and center jaw.  Right side shattered.  Will need surgery.  Minor broken bone near right ear.  Minor neck vertebral fracture.  Broken sternum.  Bleeding spleen.  Broken pelvis and displaced hip.  He has passed all of his neurological testing, so that makes up optimistic.

Tom will be in the hospital recovering from surgery for about two weeks and then in a rehabilitation center for at least a month.  It will take around a year for full recovery.
