Tom and Anne Shively have been blessed with the pregnancy of their first child. This is truly a blessing! Unfortunately, Anne was rushed to the hospital a couple days ago, then transferred to the Neonatal ICU in Sacramento. She’s 22 weeks and a couple days pregnant. The Sutter staff is doing everything they can to extend the pregnancy, every day counts! What this means is she will remain in the hospital for weeks and weeks, the longer the better! There a number of complications the doctors are concerned about, both for Anne and their baby boy. They are being addressed and are on constant observation.
I’ve seen and experienced the generosity of Tom and Anne, both financially and/or helping his neighbor. For those of you that know Tom, you know he wouldn’t ask for that kind of help, just your thoughts and prayers, but we will.
Although every prayer they received will have an impact, they will need the financial support of their friends, family, the generous people they haven't meet.
Their baby boy will be born premature, we're hoping he gets a couple more weeks in mom until his birth. This means they are going to be faced not only with the exorbitant hospital bills, but ongoing bills caring for a preemie.
It's never a good time to ask for this kind of help, especially in these trying times, but anything you can give will help.
We thank you for your generosity, I know Tom and Anne will be humbled by it.
