I am starting this GoFundMe for Tom DeRoos and family since they are facing a devastating diagnosis. Tom DeRoos class of 1990 and Teressa (Reynolds) DeRoos class of 1989 are both graduates of MASH and still a part of our local community. Exactly 3 weeks ago their life changed in an instant. Tom was sent to the ER at Holy Spirit with what his doctor believed was gallbladder issues. To their shock he was instead diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. He is currently at Hershey Medical Center being treated and beginning his battle against this horrible disease. Because this battle has required Tom to stop working and Teressa to miss work to be by his side, the financial strain of normal life and also unexpected medical bills will likely be overwhelming.
