Hi, my name is Bart and I am fundraising for Gemma Parry who recently lost her husband Tom and her son, Richie, both tragically deceased while on a half-term hiking holiday in the Scottish Highlands. Richie who had turned twelve developed a singleminded passion for hiking. After successfully scaling Ben Nevis, both father and son fell in the challenging Glen Coe terrain where their bodies were later recovered after an extensive mountain rescue search. Gemma now is caring for their younger son Joe who lives with the challenge of non-verbal autism. Please help Gemma as she negotiates the loss of Tom and of his income. Tom was a dear friend to many including myself - we had been friends since the age of five. He was a few months short of his 50th birthday. Your donations will be used to support Gemma’s care of their ten year old and to help them meet the cost of living following the loss of Tom and Richie. Thank you!
